Since 1974 when the inventory would fit in a van and travel to fairs and shows, then growing into shopping center and mall stores, Chipper’s Jewelry has been diversifying and expanding. Always a family-based enterprise, in 2015, the Kuntz family business moved into its flagship store in Bonney Lake, Washington.
The involvement, commitment, and vision of the family’s second generation inspired the development of a comprehensive service-based business with over a dozen different departments. A walk through the store, or the website, will lead you from the diamond and bridal jewelry section to the gemstone circle of color, and over to the watch cases, floral boutique, and alternative metals area.
In the center of the store, a circular fountain separates the gem lab from the service department. Appraisals and bridal jewelry consultations are conducted by appointment in the gem lab, and the nuts and bolts of jewelry construction and repair are handled in the service department. The estate department fills an island in the rear of the store, with several cases displaying a constantly evolving selection of exquisite and unique vintage jewelry. On one side of the estate department, the Silver Wall presents an attractive, dynamic selection of silver rings, bracelets, pendants, and more.
